Bowling Green Rest Day

The body and mind needed a rest day, as did the bikes. We had called the local bike shop on Saturday to get a tire replaced and some basic TLC. We when showed up at opening time we learned they do not do tune ups on Mondays but could replace my tire. I now have new rubber meeting the road.

While the tubeless tire was retired, we found a coffee and book shop to hang out.

Then some basic necessity shopping and to the post office. Then it was lunch in an old brownstone on Main Street formally known as Easy Street. I had the 1/4 pound hot dog.

It rained during lunch and more was on its way. The bike was ready and we made it back to the motel for some R&R and a little pizza delivery.

  1. What's round on both ends and "high" in the middle? Enjoy my birth state. I was born and raised in Medina Ohio (about 100 miles east/south east). I'll be reading your blog diligently over the next few days. Go Caves! Go Buckeyes! Go RonJon!
